Changelog
Every release, newest first.
What changed in DivPic, from the first element screenshot to Figma mode. Dates are when each version was finished, so a store can show it a day or two later.

Figma exports that keep what's in front in front
- ImprovedFigma: WebGL canvases, like animated hero scenes, come through as the frame on screen instead of blank.
- ImprovedFigma: a video with no frame to show pastes as a video placeholder instead of an empty box.
- ImprovedFigma: full-page export waits for fade-in effects to finish, so heroes are not captured half faded.
- ImprovedFigma: headings with balanced wrapping keep the same line breaks as on the page.
- FixedFigma: buttons and text no longer disappear behind a background image or video that the page draws underneath them.
- FixedFigma: split, animated headlines keep the space between words, and hidden screen-reader text no longer shows up as a stray layer.
-
Full pages of any length, sharper Figma exports
- NewFull-page PNG no longer trims the bottom of very tall pages. A page too tall for one image is saved as several PNGs (part-1, part-2, …) at full sharpness.
- NewDelete your account from Settings, under Sign out.
- ImprovedFigma: videos come through as their visible frame, including videos served from another site.
- ImprovedFigma: rows of inline-block items, and flex rows with a background overlay in front, now paste as auto layout.
- FixedFigma: picking an element covered by a decorative overlay captures the element itself, not the overlay.
- FixedFigma: SVG icons whose shapes are set in CSS keep their geometry.
-
Clean element shots on busy pages
- FixedCapturing an element on a page with a pinned or scroll-linked header, like github.com, no longer bakes strips of that header and other sticky bars into the PNG.
- ImprovedAn element that fits on screen is scrolled fully into view and captured in one shot.
- ImprovedThe toolbar comes back after every capture, cancel or error, and stays open until you close it.
- ImprovedFirefox: the Firefox Add-ons version jumps from 3.2 to 4.2.1. On Firefox, usage stats are sent only if you opt in.
-
Whole-page PNGs and smarter picking
- NewFull page PNG: DivPic scrolls the page, captures each screen and stitches them into one image, up to 32,000px tall.
- NewA label over the highlighted element shows its tag, id, class and size before you click.
- NewPress Arrow Up or Arrow Down to move to the parent or a child element before you click.
- ImprovedPicking reaches into open shadow DOM.
- ImprovedIn multi-select, picking a parent drops its children you already picked, and elements the page removes drop out too.
- FixedAn element partly off screen is captured whole, instead of with a blank area where it overflowed.
-
A cleaner full-page shot
- FixedThe toolbar hides itself before a full page PNG, so it no longer shows up in the screenshot.
- NewAnonymous usage stats, such as which export formats get used. Nothing from the page you capture is sent. The privacy policy lists what is.
-
Figma mode and the in-page toolbar
- NewFigma mode: copy an element or a whole page and paste it into Figma as editable frames with auto layout.
- NewToolbar: a floating toolbar on the page replaces the popup. Click the DivPic icon to open it.

- ImprovedThe on-page badge tells you what to do next and has a Cancel button.
-
